We're guiding the next generation of nature-based creatives and responsible
hikers through experience-based youth day-camps.

Campers will travel to different habitats across northeastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire, exploring the natural world and creating art focused on their surroundings.

Each day we will travel to a unique and beautiful landscape and allow kids to learn about their environment while creating art in different media.

Example of 5-day Camp Schedule

Day 1 – Intro to Art and Exploring!
We'll to know each other, the art supplies, and learning some simple drawing techniques. After lunch, we will head off-site to explore a nature area close to camp, take an easy hike to understand how to explore responsibly, and create our first on-site art.
Day 2 – Explore the Mountains!
A full-day hiking trip to a mountainous area of choice (based on the campers' hiking experience and proximate distance from camp). We will hike to a summit area where campers have the chance to draw or paint the landscapes surrounding them, learning tricks to create depth in their artwork!
Day 3 – Explore Wildlife!
A trip to the Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary, where we explore this unique habitat's beautiful lush marshes and forests! We will see birds, turtles, fish and likely other animals as we meander through the boardwalks and trails of the sanctuary. Kids will learn how to draw animals in motion (such as birds flying ) and enjoy creating art reflective of the animals they see during the day.
Day 4 – Explore the Ocean!
Another full-day trip to Halibut Point in Rockport, MA. Kids will see the still water pools created by years of quarrying and explore the rocky outcroppings of the Atlantic coastline! We’ll explore tidal pools, find crustaceans, and apply lessons learned from previous days to draw and paint what we find! We will also create 3D nature art by building sculptures out of rocks from the granite remnants of the quarries. *Weather dependent – this is a great day to have a swimming suit and towel if we can wade in the tidal pools during low tide!
Day 5 – Explore Rocks & Waterfalls!
Our fifth day of camp takes us to Purgatory Chasm, where we will explore rock formations such as caverns, caves, waterfalls, and flowing streams. Kids will see massive rock formations and natural walls, and even climb into shallow natural caves. Kids will learn watercolor techniques inspired by the flowing water while sketching these  massive formations during our art creation time.
