Chocurua is known for its breathtaking views thanks to its prominence from the tall peaks of Franconia Notch and the Presidential Range, but we take in even more above treeline time when we go up via Carter Ledge.  From Carter Ledge we also get to Summit Middle Sister Mountain, which has an old, abandoned fire lookout tower which is a great feature of this hike in its own right!  Not to mention that Mt. Chocurua from Middle Sister looks like the Matterhorn in the Swiss Alps!
